Office of Public Safety Report - 2012-12-12 to 2012-12-14

On Dec. 12 at 7:50 a.m. two vehicles were reported damaged while parked in the south end of Q-Lot. One vehicle sustained a broken windshield and numerous other damages valued at more than $6,000. The second vehicle sustained a broken back window, valued at about $800. The incidents are under investigation.

On Dec. 12 at 1:20 p.m. a student reported that her vehicle had been damaged in a hit and run accident while parked in Q-Lot. Damage was estimated at under $1,500. The incident is under investigation.

On Dec. 12 at 3:56 p.m. two students were issued judicial referrals for behavior in Higgins Hall for harassing another student.

On Dec. 12 at 4:46 p.m. a student reported his debit card missing from his wallet and $52.01 in charges had been made at a local convenience store. The theft is under investigation.

On Dec. 13 at 1 a.m. non-student Deronti Rogers, 21, of Dolton, was arrested in Washington Hall on two McDonough County warrants, one for criminal trespass to a residence and one for an ordinance violation. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail at 1:12 a.m. pending bond.

On Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. a student reported an iPhone, valued at $900, and a computer charger were missing from his locked Tanner Hall room. The theft is under investigation.

On Dec. 13 at 5:19 p.m. a student in Tanner Hall was issued a judicial referral for behavior for failing to return property he borrowed from another student.
