Office of Public Safety Report - 2013-01-14 to 2013-01-16
On Jan. 14 at 11:55 a.m. OPS officers and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in basement area (west end) of Garwood Hall. Light smoke from a compressor motor activated the alarm. No fire was found and no injuries were reported. Damage to the compressor motor was estimated to be around $300.
On Jan. 15 at 12:29 a.m. Gilbert A. Williams, 19, of 409A Grote Hall, was given two notices to appear Feb. 19 on Macomb City ordinance violations for false identification and possession of alcohol by a minor.
On Jan. 15 at 2:38 p.m. a student in Higgins Hall was judicially referred for drugs.
On Jan. 15 at 4:37 p.m. a student reported that two Playstation games, valued at $40, were stolen from his room in Henninger Hall around Oct. 1. The theft is under investigation.
