On Feb. 13 at 3:44 p.m. a student reported the paint on his car had been scratched while the vehicle was parked in Q-lot. Damage was estimated at $300. The incident is under investigation.

On Feb. 13 at 4:56 p.m. David Puka, 21, of Des Plaines, was ticketed for speeding on Western Avenue.

On Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. Pablo Baez-Mejia, 18, of 432 Higgins Hall, was arrested for domestic battery near Seal Hall. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail at 8:15 p.m. pending bond.

On Feb. 13 at 9:53 p.m. a student reported that the temporary license plate on her vehicle had been damaged while parked in Q-lot. No damage estimate was available.

On Feb. 14 at 1:45 p.m. a female non-student reported she was sexually assaulted in a residence hall by someone known to her in the early morning hours of Feb. 14. An investigation by OPS led to the arrest of Timothy Gronewold, 20, of 606 Tanner Hall, Feb. 14, on charges of criminal sexual assault. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail at 9:14 p.m. pending bond.

On Feb. 14 at 5:39 p.m. OPS officers and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the 6th floor of Tanner Hall. No smoke or fire was found and no injuries were reported.

On Feb. 14 at 5:17 p.m. Marie N. Platek, 20, of 819 Higgins Hall, was issued a notice to appear in court March 26 for Macomb City ordinance violations of possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. As part of the same incident, three students were issued judicial referrals for cannabis.

On Feb. 14 at 10:40 p.m. non-student Calvin Trenell, Jr., 19, of Worth, was arrested in Tanner Hall for manufacture or delivery of 2.5 – 10 grams of cannabis and on a McDonough County warrant. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail at 11:17 p.m. pending bond.

On Feb. 15 at 1:23 a.m. a female reported being struck by a male known to her in Lincoln Hall. The incident is under investigation.
