Office of Public Safety Report - 2013-03-22 to 2013-03-25

On March 22 at 5:39 p.m. two students in Lincoln Hall were judicially referred for behavior.

On March 22 at 10:04 p.m. Thomas Scroppo, 18, of 1018 Tanner Hall, Adam Bergschneider, 19, of, 1001 Tanner Hall, and nonstudents Zachary Brady, 20, Clint Yott, 19, Kyle Bozarth, 20, all of New Lenox, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Q-Lot.

On March 22 at 11:14 p.m. Paige Wolfe, 21, of 404 W. Pierce St., was issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for open alcohol in public near Charles and Pierce streets.

On March 22 at 11:53 p.m. nonstudents Chandler Willett, 20, of East Moline, and Berke Versluis, 18, of Moline, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 500 block of West Adams Street.

On March 23 at 12:16 a.m. Marissa Nagle, 18, of 1321 Higgins Hall, Amy Johnston, 18, of 1404 Higgins Hall, Alex Grogan, 19, of 824 Higgins Hall, and nonstudent Eric Price, 18, of Naperville, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in near Avery and Murray streets.

On March 23 at 12:27 a.m. Nicholas Leone, 18, of 1513 Tanner Hall, Eric Villasenor, 18, of 1517 Tanner Hall, and nonstudents Andrew Thomas, 20, of Itasca, and Alexander Wiederkehr, 20, of Wheaton, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor near the Union.

On March 23 at 1:38 a.m. Michael Craven, 20, of 613 Olson Hall, was issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor near North Quad.

On March 23 at 2:11 a.m. Matthew Stuve, 19, of 712 Tanner Hall, was arrested for domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Tanner Hall. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 2:14 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On March 23 at 3:05 a.m. three students in Tanner Hall were judicially referred for behavior.

On March 23 at 6:27 p.m. Charles Whitaker, 20, of Macomb, received a traffic ticket near Adams and Ward streets for no insurance.

On March 23 at 8:22 p.m. James Butts, 19, of 1003 Tanner Hall, Alejandro Cousino, 19, of 908 Tanner Hall, Adam Bergschneider, 19, of 1001 Tanner Hall, and nonstudents Nathaniel King, 18, of Wyoming, and Trevor Nelson, 18, Toulon, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Tanner Hall. Three other students were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

On March 23 at 9:28 p.m. Tristan Humbles, 19, of 1032 Higgins Hall, Brian Bodnar, 19, of 838 Higgins Hall, and nonstudent Kyle Kania, 19, of Chicago, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Higgins. Kania was also cited for possession of a false ID.

On March 23 at 10:14 p.m. Justin Bhardwaj, 18, of 1040 Higgins Hall, Ryan Carlson, 19, of 704 Higgins Hall, Mark Shlifka, 18, of 706 Higgins Hall, and nonstudent Alexandria Weston, 19, of Kewanee, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Higgins.

On March 23 at 10:33 p.m. Nolan Demartino, 19, of 1137 Higgins Hall, was issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Higgins.

On March 23 at 10:49 p.m. Glen Trammell, 18, of 640 Higgins Hall, was issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Higgins.

On March 23 at 11:17 p.m. Austin McConnaughay, 19, of 901 Tanner Hall, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and disorderly conduct. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 12:08 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond. Joshua Beliveau, 19, of 1305 Tanner Hall, was issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

On March 23 at 11:36 p.m. a University employee reported that a first floor window in Bayliss Hall had been broken. Damage was estimated at $300.

On March 24 at 12:35 a.m. Matthew Seidelmann, 18, of 605 Tanner, and Khawaja Pakrawan, 19, of Chicago, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 700 block of West Adams Street. A juvenile was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of tobacco.

On March 24 at 1:08 a.m. Benjamin Ornelas, 21, of 320 W. Pierce St., was issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for open alcohol in public in the 200 block of West Pierce Street.

On March 24 at 2:42 a.m. one student in Tanner Hall was judicially referred for failure to evacuate during a fire alarm.

On March 24 at 3:31 a.m. Thomas Wortmann, 18, of 813 Tanner Hall, Cody Hageman, 19, of 813 Tanner Hall, and nonstudent Joshua Wells, 18, of Silvis, were each issued a notice to appear April 30 on a Macomb City ordinance violation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in Tanner. Nonstudent Drake Woods, 20, of East Moline, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 4:11 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On March 24 at 1:55 p.m. two students reported that someone had vandalized their Tanner Hall room door. The incident is under investigation.

On March 24 at 2:43 p.m. two students in Tanner Hall reported someone entered their unlocked room and dispensed shaving cream on several items. The incident is under investigation.
On March 24 at 10:44 p.m. Emiliano Trejo, 19, of 1511 Tanner Hall, was arrested in Tanner for falsely activating a fire alarm. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 12:46 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond.

On March 25 at 3:03 a.m. a student in Tanner Hall reported that someone stole $110 from his wallet. The incident is under investigation.
