On March 29 at 9:40 a.m. the WIU Admissions Office reported a rug, valued at $200, had been stolen from the first floor of Sherman Hall. The incident is under investigation.

On March 29 at 2:40 p.m. the staff of the Western Courier reported newspapers had been taken out of several newsstands and thrown into the trash. The incident is under investigation.

On March 29 at 10:40 p.m. Abdoulrahman M. Alyami, 25, of 312 Reeveston Drive, and Abdulaziz Alanazi, 25, of 378 Eggers Drive, were issued notices to appear in court April 30 for Macomb City ordinance violations of open alcohol in public on Eggers Drive.

On March 30 at 12:04 p.m. Alexander Rieger, 24, of Colchester, was issued a notice to appear in court April 24 for driving on suspended registration on Western Avenue.

On March 30 at 3:58 p.m. a student in Tanner Hall reported two jackets, valued at $280, stolen from the third floor laundry room. The incident is under investigation.

On March 30 at 8:12 p.m. a student in Tanner Hall reported his debit card and $21 cash stolen from his unlocked room. The incident is under investigation.

On March 30 at 8:55 p.m. Bryant Hayes, 19, of 1102 Tanner Hall, Ryan Porter, 19, of 1118 Tanner Hall, and Phillip Adams. 18, 1313 Tanner Hall, were issued notices to appear in court May 7 for a Macomb City ordinance violation of consumption of alcohol by a minor in Tanner Hall.

On March 30 at 10:22 p.m. Jabari Carter, 20, of 828 Olson Hall, and Terrence Kelow, 21, 1013 Lincoln Hall, were issued notices to appear in court May 7 for Macomb City ordinance violations of consumption of alcohol by a minor in Corbin Hall.

On March 30 at 11:57 p.m. Tara Brownlow, 27, of 726 ½ W. Jefferson St., Macomb, and Samuel Waldo, 25, of 814 W. Market St., Colchester, were notices to appear in court April 30 for Macomb City ordinance violations of open alcohol in public at the Lamoine Village footbridge. Waldo was also issued a notice to appear in court for a Macomb City ordinance violation of possession of drug paraphernalia.

On March 31 at 4:37 a.m. a student in Higgins Hall reported being battered by someone known to her. The incident is under investigation.

On March 31 at 6:03 p.m. Preston Lees, 21, of Peoria, was issued a traffic ticket for speeding on University Drive.
