Office of Public Safety Report - 2018-09-05 to 2018-09-07

On Sept. 5 at 10:21 a.m. one student was judicially referred and at 12:20 p.m. one student was judicially referred, both at Mowbray Hall, for possession of fraudulent identification.

On Sept. 5 at 3:42 p.m. a student reported the theft of a mountain bike, valued at $100, and cable lock, valued at $10, from a bike rack near Bayliss Hall sometime between Aug. 30 and Sept. 5. The incident is under investigation.

On Sept. 6 at 12:22 a.m. OPS was notified of a fire alarm in the University Union near the food court. No smoke or fire were found and no injuries were reported.

On Sept. 6 at 10:05 a.m. an employee reported the theft of medical equipment, valued at $2,100, from the Beu Health Center sometime between July 30 and Aug. 30. The incident is under investigation.

On Sept. 7 at 1:16 a.m. Isaac Booker, 20, of 324 W. Elting St., was arrested at the intersection of Johnson and Pierce streets on a McDonough County warrant. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 1:24 a.m. where he was lodged pending bond.
