COEHS Dean's Office Freshman Scholarship

CRITERIA:  This scholarship is available to a McDonough County, Illinois freshman student who has declared a    major in the College of Education and Human Services at Western Illinois University. Applicants must be residents of McDonough County, Illinois and a graduate of a McDonough County, Illinois high school. A high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and an ACT of 22 or better is required.
 
 APPLICATIONS:  Completed applications should be returned to the College of Education and Human Services Dean’s Office by March 15.

SELECTION:  Final selection will be made by the College of Education and Human Services Scholarship
Committee.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 15
 
TERMS:  This scholarship is valued at $2,000.00 and will be paid in two installments, fall and spring semesters of the recipient’s freshman year. The recipient and family members will be recognized at the Annual Western Illinois University Foundation Scholars’ Recognition Ceremony in the fall.
