Madison Smith reigns from Hebron, Kentucky, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Tenor Trombone from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). During her undergraduate studies, she performed in prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and Cincinnati Music Hall and participated in an international concert tour throughout the Czech Republic. In addition to her performance experience, Madison has accumulated four years of private and public teaching experience, working with students of various ages and skill levels.

Madison currently serves as a Graduate Assistant in the School of Music at Western Illinois University. Her responsibilities include organizing and assisting with the Marching Leathernecks under the direction of Dr. Matt Thomas, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Band Department under the direction of Dr. Mike Fansler, and serving as the Teaching Assistant for the Trombone Studio under the direction of Dr. Jett Walker.
