How to Apply for Undergraduate Study

In addition to being accepted by the university, all music majors must complete an audition to be accepted into the School of Music. Students of any major who audition on or before February 18 will be considered for music scholarships.

Career Opportunities

Audition 2019

Callen is an Instrumental Music Education major from the Quad Cities. She will student teach at Pleasant Valley Junior High and High School in in the spring of 2019. Callen played and sang in various ensembles throughout her time at WIU in addition to serving as a section leader and drum major for the Marching Leathernecks. She attributes the diverse learning opportunities in the School of Music and at WIU to making her a well-rounded musician and person.
