Keisuke Nozaki Named Fryzek Award Winner
Keisuke Nozaki was named the 2005-2006 recipient of the Rob Fryzek Outstanding Graduate Student Award. The award recognizes excellence in leadership within the Department of Geography, University and Community. Kei received a cash award and his name has been placed on a plaque that is displayed in the Geography Department.
A 2001 graduate of the University of South Dakota, Kei has served as a graduate assistant in the in the GIS Center.
His thesis research deals with the spatial pattern of dear accidents in Illinois, a topic he recently presented a paper on at the ILGISA Conference in Springfield.
