Chad Sperry, Faculty Associate in Department of Geography and GIS Center Manager, has received funding in the amount of $10,500 from the Schuyler County Highway Department for his project entitled, "Schuyler County Deer - Vehicle Accident Analysis."  The project duration is September 19, 2007 through March 18, 2008. The objective of this project is to analyze the geographic and temporal distribution of deer-vehicle accidents in Schuyler County, IL  and derive output in the form of charts, maps and graphs to communicate the discoveries.  This analytic output will be condensed to provide the results to the general public in order to reduce the number of deer-vehicle accidents in the future.
