News:
In London last 5 years managing oil and gas projects in Algeria, Pakistan, North Sea, and Liverpool Bay. Quite varied and interesting and lots of action with ~$55 oil. Really enjoyed the 2004-2005 newsletter. Also, am pleased that WIU now allows donation by credit card for those of us who do not have US$ salaries. Great photo of Drs. Archbold and Klasner in the newsletter. Take care.

Hi to everyone! Simon, the twins and I have just moved into a new home, so please note our new mailing address & phone number. Patrick & Abigail will be 2 years old in April and we just don't know where all the time has gone! I'm still working for the State of Illinois, Department of Natural Resources, permitting oil and gApril 16, 2008 4:53 PMt now, which is a good thing!
Additionally, there is a lot of interest in the industry right now in coal bed (methane) gas, so we're permitting quite a few of these types of wells in addition to the traditional oil wells. I'd love to here from any of my classmates, especially those who attended Geology Field Camp in the summer of 1992! ;-) If anyone is in the Springfield area or attends the State Fair in August, look for me. I work in the large glass building on the Fairgrounds and can sometimes be found working in the Office of Mines and Minerals tent in Conservation World during the Fair.
