SECA - State and University Employees Combined Appeal

Since its inception in 1983, State and University Employees Combined Appeal (SECA) has given state and university employees the opportunity to give generously and selflessly to hundreds of charities supporting communities all over the world. SECA allows you to help a charity that is meaningful to you. Member charities offer a variety of services, including helping older adults in need, preventing child abuse, protecting the environment or animals, and finding cures for disease, among other topics. Even the smallest donations can make the difference in the lives of many.

The 2022 SECA campaign starts September 21, 2022. This year’s campaign, “Giving Hope”, runs until November 16, 2022. The needs of the charities are greater than ever, so please consider donating to the charity of your choice - whether it’s through a one-time gift or spread over time through payroll deduction. We hope that many of you will choose to participate in this year's campaign. However, participation is voluntary.

The SECA website enables you to search for different charities and find information on their missions. The participating charities database is searchable by charity name or code. To contribute to the charity of your choice, view the 2021 campaign booklet online. Donations may be made online or by check, money order, or payroll deduction by returning the pledge sheet to Alyssa Eddington, Human Resources, Sherman Hall 105. Hard copies of the Charity Listing Books are located in employee common areas on campus or contact Human Resources at (309) 298-1971 to have one mailed to you through campus mail.
