Hi there! My name is Rocky, your personal helper bot. What can I help with today?

A group of students walking down a sidewalk.

Student Development

Student Development assists students through their transitional periods focusing on academic and personal development. We can assist with absences, care reporting and referrals, emergency and crisis follow up, military activations, and University withdrawals.

Student Resources

A large part of being successful is knowing where to find important information. Explore resources on both the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses as well as resources for students fully online here.

Campus Violence Prevention and Intervention

At Western Illinois University, the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) and Threat Assessment Team (TAT) coordinate to identify, assess, and intervene when students, employees, or visitors exhibit behavior that may pose a risk to themselves or others, while balancing individual privacy and community safety. The site outlines what constitutes concerning behavior, the process for submitting referrals (including the “Leatherneck Care Referral” tool), and how the teams operate and respond to potential threats or crises.
