A recent independent film released by Adudathuda Studios and Pawsedog Productions involved over a dozen Western Illinois University alumni.
Producer William Koenig's movie "Smut" was filmed entirely in Los Angeles, including locations in Encino, North Hollywood, Woodland Hills, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Westwood, West Hollywood, Pacific Palisades and Koreatown.
Chris Blisset, who composed some of the music used in the film, was in a band while at Western named Voodoo Bus.
Brian McIntyre, Western alumnus and actor in the movie, said he met his future coworkers when he was in graduate school.
Darren Mangler, Western graduate and another actor in the movie, said he and Koenig had been friends since before college.
Matt Senko, Western alumnus and another actor in the movie, said he felt that all of the actors brought different benefits to the movie.
"Smut" is the fifth and largest project the Western actors have completed.
