Michael Klippert is the Technical Director for University Theatre, the StudioSeason, and the Summer Music Theatre at WIU. He joined the staff at Westernin 2004. Michael earned a BFA in technical theatre from Pacific LutheranUniversity in Washington and an MFA in technical theatre from ThePennsylvania State University. Michael also teaches stagecraft and stagemanagement. Michael is a part time designer, designing sets for the studio and main stage productions as time and need allows. His most recent design was the set for I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change for the 2007 Summer Music Theatre. Michael is interested in finding ways to make the theatre more environmentally friendly.
