Sustainable WIU Pledge

I pledge to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I will consider the environmental, social, and economic impacts of my daily decisions and make every effort to be responsible in these areas. I will also share my individual sustainability efforts with others at Western Illinois University and in my community.

Prairie Lands Environmental Summit

Environmental Sustainability Committee

Vision - To support and advance the university's role as a leader in environmental sustainability.

Mission - To collaboratively research and implement sustainable practices that reduce environmental impact from campus operations and to promote sustainability among WIU students, faculty, and staff as well as throughout the broader community.
