Symphony Orchestra Concert Oct. 5

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Under the baton of Director of Orchestral Activities Richard Hughey, their program includes "Overture to ‘L'Italiana in Alegri'," by Gioachino Rossini, "Symphony No. 1 in G Minor," by Vassili Kalinnikov and "Quadruple Concerto for flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet and orchestra," by Jean Françaix.

The concert is open free to the public.
