Western Illinois University Break Schedule

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University's Macomb and Quad Cities campuses will observe winter break with holiday and administrative closure Monday, Dec. 24-Tuesday, Jan. 1.
Spring semester classes begin Monday, Jan. 14. Residence halls reopen at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 on the WIU-Macomb campus. Students who have met with their advisers can continue to register for classes through STARS during University closure.
The Leslie F. Malpass Library has winter break hours listed for the WIU-Macomb and WIU-Quad Cities libraries at wiu.edu/libraries/info/hours.
Go West
At 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, all Go West carousel routes will shut down until Sunday, Jan. 13. Go West campus routes (routes 12-19) will operate regular schedules Dec. 15 through Jan. 12, with the exception of Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 (services shut down). The full University route schedules will resume Sunday, Jan. 13. Go West schedules are online at www.wiu.edu/student_services/go_west/routes/system.php.
Campus Recreation/Spencer Student Recreation Center
The Campus Recreation Office will be open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, Dec. 17-21. The Donald S. Spencer Student Recreation Center will be open the following hours:
