Spring Film Series Comes to the Rialto Cinemas

MACOMB, IL – The Spring Film Series will begin at the Rialto Cinemas in Macomb this week and continue through May 1.

All movies will be shown on Mondays at 5 and 7 p.m., on Tuesdays at noon, 2:30 and 5 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

The festival kicks off Monday, March 25, Tuesday, March 26 and Wednesday, March 27 with "Life of Pi."

The balance of the series' schedule includes:

• "Anna Karenina," based on the Tolstoy novel, Monday, April 1, Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3.

• "Hyde Park on Hudson," with Bill Murray playing Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Monday, April 8, Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 10.

• "Quartet," directed by Dustin Hoffman, Monday, April 15, Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17.

• "Amour," which won Best Foreign Film at the Oscars, Monday, April 22, Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24.

• "The Impossible," starring Naomi Watts, who was nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of a wife and mother during the 2004 tsunami, Monday, April 29, Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1.
