"Rocky Bikes" Program Up and Running

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University "Rocky Bikes" program is up and running for the spring semester.

Launched in March 2010, the Rocky Sustains program allows students, faculty and staff to check out one of 12 bicycles for 48 hours. To register for the free bike rental program, reserve or return bikes, individuals must bring their WIU ID to the Facilities Management front desk Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

After registering to use a bicycle, individuals will be provided with a "word code" to unlock the bike.
