Sigma Alpha Iota Recital May 4

MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University's music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota will perform at noon Saturday, May 4 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The colony will perform "Johnny Said, No!," by Vijay Singh, "Do Not Go, My Love," by Richard Hageman, "Send Me a Song," by Daniel Downes, "Rock Me to Sleep," by Greg Gilpin, "Tell My Ma," by Robert Washburn, "Espana," by Vitaly Buyanovsky, "I Can't Be Talkin' of Love," by John Duke, "Hey Ya," by OutKast, "Trio for Saxophones," by Robert Sibbing, "Someone Like You," by Adele and "Pocketful of Sunshine," by Natasha Bedingfield.

Students and faculty, who will be featured in the recital, include Lydia Lewis (freshman music therapy major from Macomb), Julie Winter (freshman music education major from Arlington Heights, IL), Vanessa Montelongo (a graduate music student from Laredo, TX), Mia Iliopoulos (freshman music therapy major from Kildeer, IL), Ashton Driscoll (junior music therapy major from Coal City, IL), Stephanie Martin (senior broadcasting major with a music minor from Geneseo, IL), Brittany Robertson (freshman music therapy major from Galesburg, IL), Samantha Bivens (sophomore music business major from Naperville, IL), Emily Nation (freshman pre-accountancy major from Taylorville), teaching assistants Ethan Ivey (Plainfield, IL) and Yihui Wang (Henan, China) and faculty assistant Minjun Seo.

The concert is open free to the public.
