Macomb Railroad Crossing Closures

From the City of Macomb Mayor's Office

MACOMB, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation will re-route traffic for the purposes of making repairs/improvements to the BNSF Railroad crossings in Macomb.

The U.S. Rt. 67 (Lafayette Street) crossing will be completely closed the week of Aug. 5. Local traffic will be able to use alternate local routes to get through town. (estimated four days).

The U.S. 136 (West Jackson Street) crossing will be closed the week of Aug. 12. Local traffic will be able to use alternate local streets to get around the closed crossing. (estimated four to five days).
