WIU Annual Spring Career Fair, Grad Program Expo Feb. 4

MACOMB, IL – Information about employment and/or internship possibilities will be available at the annual Western Illinois University Spring Career & Internship Fair next month. Slated from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the University Union Grand Ballroom, the fair is open free to students, alumni and the public.

According to staff from Western's Career Development Center (CDC), more than 60 companies will be recruiting for both full-time employment and for internships. Students from all majors are welcome to attend the fair.

All attendees are required to dress professionally, and should bring copies of their résumés, as well as research the companies they are interested in networking with at the event. Attendees are encouraged to meet with a member of the Career Development Center staff to have their résumés reviewed before the fair. For those interested in attending graduate school at Western, the Graduate Program Expo, in conjunction with the fair, will be hosted by the School of Graduate Studies. Representatives from more than 15 graduate programs will be on hand to answer questions related to their programs.
