Thomas to Appear on "Across the Miles"

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas will be the featured guest on this month's "Across the Miles," produced by University Television (UTV) at WIU.
"Across the Miles" features Western alumni, faculty, staff and select community members talking about their WIU experience. In this most recent interview, Thomas' third since assuming the presidency, the 11th president of Western shares the latest updates and more about the University.
Thomas' interview will air the following dates and times on local cable Channel 3 (Comcast subscribers; Channel 9, MTC subscribers): today (Monday, June 16), noon; Tuesday, June 17, 5 p.m.; Wednesday, June 18, 6 a.m.; Thursday, June 19, 6:30 p.m.; Friday, June 20, 5 p.m.; Saturday, June 21, 1 p.m.; Sunday, June 22, 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.; Monday, June 23, 6 a.m.; Tuesday, June 24, 5 p.m.; Wendnesday, June 25, 3 p.m.; Thursday, June 26, 10 a.m.; and Friday, June 27, 8 p.m.
In addition to "Across the Miles," UTV produces numerous other original programs, including "The Purple Chair," "15 Minutes," "The History of Western Illinois University," "The History of Macomb," "Historical Homes of Macomb" and more. University Television also coordinates and produces special programming featuring lectures, interviews with University guests, performances and marketing and advancement initiatives, to name a few. In addition, UTV airs WIU and local athletic events produced by students within the Department of Broadcasting.
