WIU Faculty Join World Affairs Council of the Quad Cities

MACOMB, IL — Western Illinois University-Quad Cities Management and Marketing Professor Kanu Priya and Counselor Education Professor Leslie O'Ryan, of the WIU-Macomb campus, have been appointed board members of the World Affairs Council of the Quad Cities.
The World Affairs Council of the Quad Cities is an all-volunteer organization. Its mission is to foster global education and international understanding within the Quad Cities area and beyond, providing local business and industry with information to forge ties with world counterparts, and to provide students of all ages with opportunities to experience diverse world cultures and customs. The council's two-year goal is to give scholarships at both the high school and collegiate level. WIU has recently become a collegiate sponsor of the council.
