Run, Hide, Fight–Surviving an Active Shooter Event

MACOMB, IL –

Back by popular demand, the Run, Hide, Fight series sponsored by Western Illinois University's human resources office and Office of Public Safety, teaches employees viable options of what to do in the instance of an active shooter in an office or classroom.

Three sessions are available: 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5; 1:30-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21; and 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. Each session will take place in the Western Illinois University Multicultural Center.

All WIU employees are invited to attend. Each session will include a Department of Homeland Security presentation and time for questions.

Two sessions will be available at the WIU Quad Cities campus from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 in QC Complex, room 2406.
