Combs Obituary

MACOMB, IL – A visitation for retired Western Illinois University stationary fireman Delwyn Combs, 84, of Sciota, IL, will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home. No services will be held.
Combs passed away Sunday, Jan. 24 in Macomb.
He was hired by Western in September 1967 as a building service worker. Combs then became a stationary fireman in October 1975, and then he retired in January 1994.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, Combs is survived by three daughters.
