Faust, Seo Plan Sunday Performance in COFAC Recital Hall

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University School of Music faculty, Professor Randall Faust (horn) and Faculty Assistant Minjung Seo (piano), will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Faust and Seo recently returned from summer performances; Seo at the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Maine, and Faust at The International Horn Symposium at the Federal University of Rio Grande de Norte in Natal, Brazil.

Sunday's concert will have an international flavor, opening with work by Israeli composer Lev Kogan. The performance will also include outstanding compositions of the International Horn Society's 2016 composition contest. The recital will close with the first performance of a new composition by Faust, "Souvenir," from the International Horn Symposium in Brazil.

The recital is open free to the public.
