'One Man, Two Guvnors' in WIU's Hainline Theatre Wednesday-Sunday

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Theatre and Dance will present "One Man, Two Guvnors" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 3-6 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7 in Hainline Theatre.

The play, written by Richard Bean, is directed by WIU Professor DC Wright, with musical direction by Associate Professor Kitty Karn.

The play is set in 1963 England as Francis Henshall, who is looking for work, finds himself employed by small-time gangster Roscoe Crabbe. But Roscoe is really Rachel, posing as her own dead brother, herself in love with Stanley Stubbers (her brother's killer) who, in turn, becomes our hero's other "guvnor."

General admission tickets are $15 each, with tickets for senior citizens and students set at $13. WIU students will be admitted free with a valid WIU identification card.
