MACOMB, IL -- A retirement reception honoring Tim Sheridan, director of student judicial programs, will be held from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in the University Union Lamoine Room. Sheridan retired Sept. 30 after nearly 33 years of service.

He began his career at Western in November 1985, as the assistant director for residence life/coordinator for judicial affairs and in 1987, he was named the director of Student Judicial Programs. While in that role, he served on various University committees and was an adjunct professor in the College of Education and Human Services.

"Tim will be greatly missed at WIU. He is a wonderful professional, and he always treated students with great respect," said Ron Williams, vice president for student services. "We wish him well in his retirement."
