UPDATED APRIL 3 - Additional Candidate

MACOMB, IL – Three candidates have been selected to interview for the Western Illinois University College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Development Director position.

Kristin Dunstan, production assistant at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, VA, interviewed Tuesday, April 2; Lisa Nafziger, executive director/CEO of HealthFirst Medical Park in Oelwein, IA, will interview today (Wednesday, April 3); and Elizabeth Swigart, former banking center manager and regional sales and service development officer at Fortress Bank in Macomb, will interview Thursday, April 4.

Dunstan has served as a production assistant and other graduate teaching positions at Mary Baldwin University since 2016 while working on her MFA. Previously, she was the vice president for marketing and communication for The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta from 2011-2016. Dunstan has also served as the director of University Marketing at WIU (2005-2011), as the managing director of the Atlanta Shakespeare Company (1997-2005) and an instructor of theater history at Georgia Perimeter College (2000). Dunstan has also worked in theatre in London, England.

She received her master's degree in theatre history and bachelor's degree in rhetoric from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Nafziger has served as the executive director/CEO of HealthFirst Medical Park since 2017. She has also served as the referral coordinator for the Great River Health Systems in Burlington since 2007. Previously, Nafziger was the marketing and specialty leasing manager for the GK Development Group/Jones Lang Lasalle in West Burlington (2002-2007).

She received her MBA from American Intercontinental University in Schaumburg and her bachelor's degree in public relations and marketing from WIU.

Swigart served as the banking center manager and regional sales and service development officer at Fortress (formerly First State Bank of Illinois) from 2015-2019. Previously, she was the financial center operations manager for Bank of America in Springfield, MO from 2011-2015. Swigart has also worked as a cash service representative for Bank of America in Las Vegas (2007-2008), manager of the International Sandwich Shop in Macomb (2004-2006) and as a receptionist for the WIU Small Business Development Center (2002-2004).

She received her bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix, and an associate degree in business from Axia College of the University of Phoenix.
