Piano Festival April 26-27 at WIU

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the seventh annual Piano Festival, featuring guest pianist Thomas Rosenkranz, Friday-Saturday, April 26-27 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall. 
 
Thomas Rosenkranz will perform a guest recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, and a masterclass at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27.

Rosenkranz served as a visiting professor of piano at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music during 2017, and is currently the coordinator of the keyboard division and associate professor of piano at the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. This summer he will join the distinguished artist faculty at the Almafi Coast Festival in Italy.

All events are open free to the public.
