WIU JSO to Perform Friday with Guest Saxophone Player

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the Jazz Studio Orchestra (JSO), directed by John Cooper, director of Jazz Studies, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Performing with the JSO will be guest artist Jim Buennig, saxophone. They will perform works by Buennig, Chris Merz, John Mills, Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges.

The performance is open free to the public, and will be live-streamed on the School of Music's YouTube channel and Facebook Live.
