Dorsett Named WIU Advisor of the Month

MACOMB, IL -- The Council of Academic Advisors Awards and Recognition Committee at Western Illinois University announced recently that Academic Advisor Stacy Dorsett has been named Advisor of the Month for November.

Dorsett, who works in the College of Education and Human Services, was nominated by students she advises.

"Stacy always goes above and beyond to make sure my classes are right and that I can have some flexibility when there is a problem," said one of her nominators. "She is very committed to helping others."

Each month, a WIU advisor is honored with a certificate and trophy. Award winners are decided by a committee that considers each of the applications for the month.
