Margene Weiss Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Professor Emerita Margene Weiss, of Macomb, passed away Sunday, June 28, in Macomb.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Weiss worked at WIU for 33 years, retiring in 2002. She was an English professor, worked in the WIU Department of English and Journalism and was director of Non-Credit Programs in the School of Continuing Education.
Weiss is survived by her husband, Philip; one brother, John Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.
