WIU Phi Kappa Phi Chapter Seeks Nominees for Faculty Initiates

MACOMB, IL - Phi Kappa Phi, the largest all-discipline national scholastic honor society at Western Illinois University, is seeking nominations from Western faculty for its 2023 class of faculty initiates.

Faculty who have been at Western for five or more years are eligible to be nominated for initiation. This year's induction ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 6.

A letter of nomination, and a copy of the nominee's current detailed vita, containing a list of outstanding scholarly, teaching and service accomplishments, must accompany the nomination. Self-nominations are welcome.

Phi Kappa Phi members are encouraged to nominate colleagues who they believe are deserving of the honor.

The WIU Phi Kappa Phi chapter celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022.

Nominations, which must be received by Monday, March 20, must be sent electronically to WIU Chair Emeritus Dale Adkins, chair of the Phi Kappa Phi Faculty Initiates Committee, at KD-Adkins1@wiu.edu.
