Knoblauch Cafe Open for Spring Semester

MACOMB, IL – The Knoblauch Café will open for the Spring 2023 semester Thursday, Feb. 23, and will served dine-in or carry-out meals from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Thursdays, in the Knoblauch Hall Corporate Kitchen, room 238.

Each meal is $9, which includes a beverage and dessert.

The meals are organized and run by students in the WIU Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA). The Knoblauch Café provides students with hands-on experience running a foodservice facility.

This year's menu includes:

Hawaiian ham and cheese sliders/Hawaiian roll caprese sliders
Loaded baked potato soup
Salted caramel brownie

Thursday, March 2
Turkey panini/veggie panini
Broccoli cheese soup
Vanilla confetti cupcake

Thursday, March 9
Penne pasta with tomato cream sauce with or without grilled chicken
Caesar salad
Garlic breadstick
Gooey butter cake

Thursday, March 23
Chicken quesadilla/veggie quesadilla
Salsa with tortilla chips
Raspberry cheesecake cupcake

Thursday, March 30
BLT/VLT
Mediterranean pasta salad
Cheesecake shooter

Grilled chicken tacos/grilled shrimp tacos
