Civil Service Employees Council Annual Fall Luncheon Oct. 5

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Join us! All Western Illinois University employees are invited to attend the Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) fall luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 in the Union Heritage Room on the Macomb campus.

Tickets for the luncheon are $10 per employee, which includes part-time or temporary employees and includes lunch: assorted sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, cookies and iced tea or water. At the door, a 50/50 raffle and bucket auction tickets are available. All payments will be collected upon arrival.

Raffle tickets will be for a chance to win multiple prizes, including a Ray (mascot) bobblehead, two WIU themed wall clings donated by PDP, three sets of Made in QC coasters, two 3-D printed purple Rocky figurines, a Milwaukee impact wrench and drill set, an insulated lunch bag with multiple items, items from Bold Brew House, a goodie bag from the WIU Bookstore, items from WIU Athletics, five parking passes for the 2024-25 school year (two donated by Kristi Mindrup and three donated by Parking Services), a Uline lunch cooler with Yeti travel mug, handkerchief and hand tools, and a Bose speaker. Tickets are one for $1 or 25 for $20. Money raised will go toward the CSEC dependent scholarships.

In addition to the 50/50 and raffle items, a pumpkin carving contest will take place. Participants in the pumpkin contest will need to bring their carved pumpkin to the luncheon. The winner will be chosen during the event. Macomb participants can pick up a pumpkin on Monday, Oct. 2 from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. in the basement of Tillman Hall, room 016. Pumpkins are being donated by Camp's Orchard.
