MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Effective immediately, Western Illinois University has implemented strategic changes across both campuses.

Quad Cities Student Success, led by director Curtis Williams, now reports to Kristi Mindrup, vice president for Quad Cities Campus Operations.

"The Quad Cities Student Services reorganization will emphasize collaboration and coordination across areas that serve the unique opportunities and needs for Quad Cities-based students, while maintaining a focus on student success and engagement on campus and via community partnerships," said Mindrup.

On the Macomb campus, the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Geographic Information Sciences (EAGIS) has shifted from Tillman Hall to Currens Hall, and now also occupies additional space in Waggoner Hall. The Nursing program has also relocated to Currens Hall. Additionally, the Peace Corps program and the Dietetics and Nutrition program have moved to Stipes Hall, and Recreation, Park, Tourism, and Hospitality moved to Knoblauch. The Office of Distance Education and Support has been permanently disbanded. University Technology has been reassigned to WIU Finance and Administration Vice President Paul Edwards.

"The Office of the Provost and Academic Vice President would like to thank Facilities Management, the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Human Services, and College of Business and Technology dean's offices and the individual programs involved in the move (RPTH, EAGIS, Peace Corps and Dietetics & Nutrition) for their cooperation and understanding that has lead to this difficult logistical project being completed in a timely manner," said Senior Associate Provost for Budget, Personnel and Research Russell Morgan.
