MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities has announced the 2024-25 Student Government Association (SGA) cabinet.

"I am humbled to be presented with this opportunity to take on a leadership role here at Western and within the Quad Cities community, and I am excited to be working with my fellow cabinet members to try and enhance the Western experience for all students. ‘Have a Western day,'" SGA President Harrison Dehnert said.

Dehnert hopes to achieve a lot in his term as president, including promoting accessibility to resources on campus; hosting and collaborating with fundraising drives to address the needs of our campus and the larger QC community; facilitating transparency between the student body and administration and promoting open dialogue and advocacy; and working to promote unity and community between the Quad Cities and Macomb campuses.

The 2024-25 SGA cabinet includes:

President: Harrison Dehnert, senior, Psychology major
Vice President: Austin Tubbs, sophomore, Communications major
Comptroller: Natalia Rosales, senior, Accounting major
Attorney General: Kennedy Roggenbauer, sophomore, Law Enforcement, and Justice Administration major

The SGA mission is to provide WIU-QC students with a voice in governance and a forum to express opinions about University-related issues, events, affairs and future outcomes.
