WIU Athletics Returns to The Quad Cities This Weekend

MOLINE, IL – - The Western Illinois University men's and women's Golf programs return to the Quad Cities this weekend, hosting the WIU Intercollegiate at the TPC Deere Run on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6. It is the second straight year the Leathernecks have hosted their invite on the home course of the John Deere Classic in Silvis, IL.
Eight men's teams and seven women's teams will partake in the three-round, two-day, 54-hole tournament.
Play begins with a Friday, 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. All 15 teams play two rounds on Friday with the final round scheduled for Saturday morning.
Participating teams on the men's side are WIU, St. Ambrose, Green Bay, Omaha, Indian Hills, Northern Iowa, Chicago State and North Dakota.
Women's teams are WIU, Northern Iowa, St. Ambrose, North Dakota, Omaha, South Dakota State and Green Bay.
