Choral Grad Student Conductor Recital and Internship Experience Concert April 28

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a Graduate Choral Conducting Recital and Student Conducting Internship Concert, at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28 in the COFAC Recital Hall.

The Graduate Choral Conducting Recital "When We Hear All Nature Sing Along" will feature the WIU Singers and Chamber Singers, with collaborative pianist Po-Chuan Chiang, conducted by Jake Huntley.

Huntley is currently a graduate assistant at WIU, pursuing a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and studying under Brian J. Winnie, director of Choral Studies.

The annual WIU Choral Conducting Internship Experience provides an opportunity for a select number of students to rehearse and conduct a piece of repertoire with WIU Choir.

This performance is open free for general audience seating.
