Parking Adjustments For May 1 Block Party

MACOMB, IL - - Parking adjustments are underway in preparation for Western Illinois University's highly anticipated third annual Rocky's Great Leatherneck Block Party, scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. behind the University Union. This event is open free of charge to all WIU students.
Due to the Block Party, certain parking areas will be affected. Lot 16 will be blocked off in the center for entertainment purposes, while Lot 17 (Knoblauch parking lot) will be closed off on the East end. These adjustments have been carefully coordinated to ensure smooth event operations and accommodate all attendees.
The Block Party promises an exciting lineup of activities, including a dunk tank featuring campus "celebrities," complimentary food and drinks, the Kona Ice Shack, games, giveaways, and live music. This event aims to provide an opportunity for the entire WIU community to come together and celebrate the successful conclusion of another semester.
