2025 Career Fairs Announced
January 17, 2025

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - This year, Western Illinois University invites all students and faculty to attend career and internship fairs provided by the WIU Career Center and various academic departments. These fairs are for job seekers looking for information about local and regional organizations.
"Career Fairs play such an important role on campus. Studies show students are more likely to secure a job or internship before or by graduation if they attend career fairs," WIU Associate Director for The Center for Career Preparation & Employer Engagement Mandi McRaven said.
"Faculty play such a pivotal role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and career success. By engaging with the Fairs, they not only help students access valuable professional opportunities but also ensure that employers are meeting the diverse and evolving needs of our academic community. When faculty support these events, they help create a direct pathway for students to connect with employers, gain insights into industry trends and ultimately, prepare for a successful career post-graduation."
