MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University community is invited to a conversation about retention with a Political Science professor and Rural Postsecondary Education and Rural Development grant's Principal Investigator Julia Albarracin.

There will be two opportunities to attend the event: 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, and noon, Friday, Feb. 28. The conversation will be held in the Corbin 1032 E-Classroom.

Albarracin will facilitate a conversation about what everyone can do to improve retention and share tips on what has proven to be successful.

"It takes a village to graduate a student," Albarracin said. "The idea of this event is to work together on the practices that work elsewhere and at WIU."

Attendees can also register for a Zoom link, at https://forms.gle/fVpXwHCJk9mppVbu7

This event is sponsored by the WIU Political Science Department, Anti-Racism Task Force (ARTF) and a WIU RPED Grant.
