Women in Criminal Justice Conference to be Held April 16-17

MACOMB, IL - - The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board Executive Institute (ILETSB) is hosting its 15th annual Women in Criminal Justice Conference at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria, IL, on Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 17.
This is one of the largest conferences in the Midwest for female law enforcement officers, where attendees will have networking opportunities, hear from national and regional experts in the field and have the ability to participate in several breakout sessions.
This year's event will feature Western Illinois University President Kristi Mindrup as the opening conference speaker and a keynote address from Alma Burke, retired assistant chief of operations/director of the Los Angeles Police Department and CEO of Burke Consulting Group.
Lunch will be provided on Wednesday.

The ILETSB has been a part of the WIU campus for 31 years. It is dedicated to developing leaders in the law enforcement community, addressing the numerous challenges that today's law enforcement administrators face and those that will emerge as important issues during the next decade and beyond.
