GBCC To Host "Barbershop Talk" Event

MACOMB, IL - - The Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center (GBCC) invites students to an enriching evening of conversation, connection and community at their upcoming Barbershop Talk event from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 in the Multicultural Center (MCC) Dance Room.
This program is designed to provide an open and supportive space where students can engage in meaningful dialogue and shared reflection. Three distinguished barbers will be in attendance to lead the conversation, sharing their professional expertise, cultural awareness and lived experience.
The GBCC hopes to help students feel heard, seen and supported by creating an environment where authentic discussions can naturally unfold.
