MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University College of Business and Technology (CBT) will host the videoconference, “Master of Business Administration: Leadership in the New North America,” Monday, March 29. Participants may view the videoconference locally in Horrabin Hall 45 on the WIU campus.

WesternÂ’s current trilateral MBA students will discuss their experiences in the program. Speakers from the University of Moncton (Canada) and the University of Autonoma de Queretaro (Mexico) will also participate. The videoconference is open free to the public.

Western’s innovative trilateral MBA is a 16-month degree program designed for students interested in international trade within the New North America. The first student cohort began the program in Fall 2003 at the University of Moncton. This semester the students are studying at Western, and the third semester (Summer 2004) will be held at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, México. The program will end with the students spending a one-semester internship as a three-person tri-country team in a business or organization committed to international trade and economic development.
