MACOMB, IL – Larry Wall, associate dean of the College of Business and Technology (CBT) at Western Illinois University, has been named acting dean, effective May 1, by Provost and Academic Vice President Joe Rallo.

Wall has been a CBT faculty member since 1981 and was named associate dean in 1985. He will serve as acting dean until May 31. Tom Erekson was named CBT dean last month, effective June 1, replacing Fred Ebeid who retired from Western after 36 years of service. Ebeid served as CBT dean since July 2004.

“Dr. Wall is a superb leader for the college and he will work diligently to ensure the transition from Dean Ebeid to Dean Erekson goes smoothly,” Rallo said.
